Pesto with basil and hazelnut
A tasty, honest and vegan pistou, traditionally prepared with honest ingredients.
This French variant of pesto is made without cheese and is called pistou. The late Johannes van Dam has named our pistou the best in the Netherlands in the past.
Ellekes Pistou is delicious in pasta, in a salad, as a dip with a sandwich and in tomato soup or minestrone soup. But also as a delicious snack on homemade or toasted bread.
Ingredients: 59% vegetable oil (sunflower, olive), 27% hazelnut, 9.5% basil, vegetable stock powder (salt, starch [potato, pea], vegetables [onion, tubercelery, parsley carrot, cauliflower], sugar, concentrated vegetable juice [carrot, celery, onion, leek], olive oil, maltodextrin, flavorings, spices, palm fat, bay leaf, sunflower oil), garlic powder.
Average nutritional value per 100 ml: energy 2974 KJ / 723 kcal, fats 76.3 g of which saturated fatty acids 8.4 g, carbohydrates 2.6 g of which sugars 2.3 g, proteins 5.0 g, salt 0 g.
