Turkish darling but without a jacket.
Hazelnuts blanched or without peel, you can choose from raw, roasted hazelnuts blanched and salted or unsalted. Grown in Turkey, where hazel trees crisscross each other on rocky slopes. Blanching is the brief steaming of the nuts so that the shell can be removed so that you have a nice white nut. Raw hazelnuts are the purest form, but freshly roasted by us with a pinch of salt, the hazelnuts are a real treat. Indispensable with a drink, in the muesli or as a healthy snack in between!
What makes this squirrel favorite so healthy:
Are you concerned about your cholesterol or are you pregnant? The hazelnut is ready for you! Due to the high concentration of unsaturated (so good) fats, hazelnuts contribute to a good cholesterol level, which is important for a healthy heart. Hazelnuts are even specifically recommended for diabetes patients. Pregnant women need extra folic acid, also known as vitamin B11. Hazelnut and many other nuts contain high concentrations of folic acid. In addition, hazelnuts are rich in different types of vitamin B and our great darling; vitamin E! Vitamin E contributes to muscle building and recovery, among other things.
Hazelnuts like to be kept dark and airtight.
