These dried chickpeas from Italy have a superior taste and texture; cannot be compared with the canned variants. For example, they are smaller and have a thin skin; something that certainly benefits the end result of dishes. Besides being tasty, they are also rich in healthy nutrients! They are rich in proteins, iron, B vitamins, complete carbohydrates and fiber.
With these chickpeas you can make fantastic falafel, chana masala and meal salads. You can also grind uncooked chickpeas into chickpea flour!
Preparation method: soak the chickpeas in water for 24 hours. Rinse them clean with cold water and boil them in a large pan of water until tender. Cooking time is approximately 2 hours.
