A former 'forgotten vegetable', the parsnip is a coarse winter carrot with an intense flavor. Our organic parsnips come directly from the farmer in the fall and winter. The taste is intense, aromatic and slightly sweet. It lies between the taste of carrot and celeriac.
Parsnips can be eaten raw, stewed and cooked. Try parsnips in stew, something that was often done in the past.
