Petit Tourtain is a soft, spicy cheese with an exceptional ripening process. By ripening the rind as well as white mold cheese and washing with brine, this combined rind is created to which the Petit Tourtain owes its flavor. Although this French cheese is not exceptionally spicy, it still gives a tingle on the tongue.
This red rind cheese goes very well on the cheese board with a full-bodied red wine.
