A leading role on the table
A roulade is tasty, luxurious and always works. In short: the ideal piece of meat for the holidays! We have already lightly seasoned our roulade with some salt and pepper. So you only have to bake or roast it. But beware, do not let the roulade dry out. Follow the preparation below and give our roulade a starring role on your Christmas table!
You need this:
1. Allow the roulade (about 1 hour) to reach room temperature.
2. Heat a generous amount of butter in a frying pan and let it get hot.
3. Sear the roulade on all sides, reduce the heat and add a little extra butter. Place the lid on the pan and let the roulade simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not forget to turn the roulade every now and then and aim for a core temperature of 60 to 63 degrees. This is how the meat comes into its own.
4. Remove the roulade from the pan and wrap it in aluminum foil and let the meat rest for 10 minutes. Cut and serve!
